Weight gain on pill

I take cerelle progesterone only pill
Have gained alot of weight
Any one else had these issues

Yes! In 9 months I’ve gained 3 and a half stone on cerelle

I've not been on the pill since I was a teenager but I often see people talk about this and I'm intrigued as to why it happens.
