Will I definitely get a late payment marker?

I have a credit card for emergencies that is never used. Somehow it ended up with a 79p balance on it. DH was meant to deal with it and did not...I got an alert today to say the payment is late so I've now paid it but it was due yesterday.

Will I definitely get a late payment marker on my credit file for this? Am very cross with DH! All for 79p Sad

Suggest you contact your bank or card provider they may be able to alter things at their end.

Contact your bank but you shouldn’t do. banks get charged by credit reference agencies to put on adverse and late payment markers and so usually reserve them for their worst offenders.
