Part frozen chicken - help!

Apologies if this is the wrong place!! I have a temporary fridge, it’s old but ok. I’ve just gone to get the large pack of chicken breast out for tea and the breasts near the back of the pack that were at the back of the fridge are part frozen. They also smell a little - but no so bad that I feel I need to chuck. Would I best to defrost and cook or get them straight in the freezer? Those that were fine are being cooked for tea! I’m just mindful they could have been like that since I bought them on Saturday... thanks for any help

It sure if it's 'right' but I'd let them stand in water for a little while to thaw the last bit out 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you @JustAPassingFashion, I’d forgotten that old trick, done just that 😊

I'd bin it all, especially as it had a slight smell, I'm overcautious though.
