Help! Chipped tooth cutting tounge.

I've somehow chipped a back tooth and for obvious reasons cannot get to see a dentist. Its really sharp and cutting shreds out of my tounge. Any advice please? It hurts to talk and eat :(

Have you actually spoken to your dentist? If it's chipped then it might be possible to put on a temporary filling without involving any drilling or treatment they can't undertake at the moment.

I literally just went to tesco to try get a temporary filling kit. They didnt have one so brought a nail file Gin

That happened to me, it was awful. I bought a filling kit from a chemist. You need to see a dentist.

Yes file it a tiny bit with a nail file. Some Sensodyne toothpaste will help if the tooth gets touchy
