Did you lose internet if you upgraded from sky broadband essential to sky Superfast?

I’ve been looking into it and I cannot for the life of me find out if there would be any down time where we would lose internet while we are switched over. I know when you move house and they get you set up you can end up waiting weeks for it but I can’t find out if an upgrade means you lose internet for a while too.

Has anyone upgraded this way and have any advice? Thanks!

Yes - we did. Our switch over date was a Friday and the essential hub worked all through Thursday and then when we woke up on the Friday it was no longer active. We set up the new hub, and we had the superfast activated by early PM (Sky did text to say it was active but we already had it up and running about half an hour before). HTH.
