My 2.5 year old has been getting a fever with no other symtoms every 2-3 weeks since the past 10 weeks. Have not been able to take him to the doctors due to the lockdown. The fever usually lasts about 3 days then goes away but he doesn't eat well for about a week, anyone else had this with their children, if so what was the cause?

Whenever my toddler doesn't eat well it's been tonsillitis. Can you try and look in his mouth with a small torch or flash light from phone? Hope he's feeling better soon Thanks

UTI’s? Though far more common in girls. Or teething maybe?

You can get a dr appointment despite lockdown. It may be initially a phone consult but at least you’d have done that.

Maybe an infection that hasn't cleared up - throat or ear most likely?

Why can't he go to the GP? Ours are still doing telephone appointments and face to face if necessary.

You can still get an appointment! It may be a phone appointment to start with, but that's better than nothing.

I have had a few phone appointments, the last one the doc said that next time take him to A&E so we are going to take him in a while.

I've tried to check but couldn't see anything, were there any other symtoms when your toddler had tonsillitis?
