Small acts of kindness

I'm feeling really down at the moment and I need to hear some stories of people being kind, or ideas for small acts of kindness.

My story... On the flight home from holiday 2 years ago, ds screamed just about the whole flight home. The man sitting on our row was lovely about it and gave my DS a little torch keyring to keep.

My idea for kindness.... Give someone your car park ticket when you leave to save them a few quid.

I'm a massive believe in random acts of kindness. I try to compliment people whenever I can.
At the moment I've been sending cards to tell people we miss them. I've sent donuts to my daughters pre school because they go above and beyond. We have left little boxes of home made brownies on people's doorsteps because they've made us happy someway (one had spider plants for free at the end of their drive. One we love their Christmas decorations). The biggest Weve done is we anonymously gave a lady the money to go and visit her poorly son in hospital. Nobody apart from my husband knows about it now even 8 years later.
The man on the flight sounds lovely

I've been feeling quite low this week and my lovely teen disappeared out and returned a while later with a box of my favorite chocolates Smile

@delilabel how lovely of you to give the money for the woman to visit her son. I'm sure she will never forget that. Complimenting people is such an easy one and everyone loves a compliment!
