Swollen tonsil!

Hi I have had a swollen tonsil now since March when I had tonsillitis.
It's not huge it's just bigger and red and angry looking it doesn't hurt at all.
The doctor gave me antibiotics and it still hasn't gone down. Is it worth going back to the doctor? It's worrying me now it's serious.
I also heard at the time of having tonsillitis a lot of people had Covid and that was an after infection Confused

I think you should call 111 if its comprising your breathing/swallowing food, drink or saliva if not ring docs on Monday. Could just need more antibiotics to finish it off, maybe a covid test or referral to ent.

I've had a swollen tonsil for about 15 years! I used to get a lot of bad tonsillitis and even though I haven't had any infections in years, one tonsil is now permanently swollen. My GP is unconcerned and I'm just used to it now.
