Hi I’m taking this medication as and when nausea and dizzy spells strike. I was wondering what are people’s experiences with taking this medication and having an alcoholic drink? I can’t find much in the internet about it?

BNF advises that effects of alcohol are enchanted.
I don’t have any personal experience drinking whilst taking it.

Enhanced not enchanted!

It says on the patient information leaflet on mine that mixing the two can cause severe breathing difficulties

Yes I have read that. But I just as wondering as because I only take one as and when and not everyday of the effects would be the same.

I had it for morning sickness. It made my legs feel sort of tingly and fuzzy but otherwise ok. I wasn't drinking as pregnant so can't comment on that. My top tip would be, unless you have prescribed times to take it, to try to take it as quickly as you can before nausea starts if it's in any way predictable or triggered by particular things. E. G I would take it when still half asleep at 6am before the alarm went off at 7 because once I was awake it didn't seem to have the effect.
