Either.

I dress my daughter I clothes from any section as loads of clothes in the "girls" section are impractical colours.

covidco · 05/06/2020 17:04

I'd guess girl but would dress my son in those clothes.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 05/06/2020 17:04

DD1 would be called a boy when she was in a pink dress.
DD2 could wear whatever (she looked lovely in blue dungerees because of her black hair and grey eyes) and would be called a girl.

IckleBear · 05/06/2020 17:04

Girl

AFewScrewsLucy · 05/06/2020 17:04

Just to be clear. I'm not bothered about her being mistaken for a boy. Just curious top know if I'm imagining that "everybody" calls her a boy. But according to PPs... Wouldn't matter if I dressed her head to toe in pink frills ... She'd still be called he! 😂😂😂

Oo Id just be glad no one says anything about her very large yellow face and odd expression ! Grin

Thesearmsofmine · 05/06/2020 17:04

I’ll say girl due to the grill but I would have dressed my sons in that.

MikeUniformMike · 05/06/2020 17:05

They are probably saying that you obviously wanted a boy because you dress her in t-shirt and leggings.

(yes, I know that's ridiculous)

They would dress your little girl in frilly dresses and a headband with a big bow.

(and I would think it's a baby not a doll)

God yes. They're all insipid and pale... I tried getting a sun hat for her the other week in ASDA. boys section had plain red, yellow, green, blue, sturdy bucket hats. Maybe like a navy hat with a white band etc

The girls? Fucking pastel pink, pale yellow or white...all with bloody frills and flowers. 🙄🙄🙄

When my son was getting his hair cut (a trim to a already short typical boy’s cut) and wearing mostly blue and dark clothes I was asked whether he was a boy or a girl. According to the person who asked it was because he was wearing RED shoes.

I was really upset about it. Not because he looks like a girl but because boys, it seems, can’t wear any colour. How depressing is that?

Tonii1985 · 05/06/2020 17:07

My first thought was boy.
My little girl could be dressed head to toe in pink and had a buggy with bright pink butterflies on it and she would still get called he.

MigGril · 05/06/2020 17:08

I would say the baby is wearing Gril style cloths only because the top has frills on the cuff and they do that with all the grip tops (I used to try and find one's without for DD). But as to the baby's actual sex, I wouldn't know that unless you told me, I've been around to long to just randomly gess and I used to dress DS in DD old baby cloths he still gets hand me down now at 9 when I can get away with it. Luckly she's never really been into pink.

Girl

IggyAce · 05/06/2020 17:08

Girl because of the ruffle hem on the top.

PurBal · 05/06/2020 17:08

Neutral

YinMnBlue · 05/06/2020 17:08

No idea.

MashedPotatoBrainz · 05/06/2020 17:09

Girl. But my 7 year old son has a top exactly the same as that.

Sunnydaysarecoming · 05/06/2020 17:09

Boy

howlatthetrees · 05/06/2020 17:10

Girl

sillysmiles · 05/06/2020 17:10

I would have thought boy - but thats potentially because all the same babies I know at the moment are boys and thats the way my brain worked.

Fruitteatime · 05/06/2020 17:10

The baby is almost certainly wearing clothes from the girls section. But ds has worn outfits like that handed down from dd. You don't get frills and pompoms in the boys section, so I'm glad we had dd first.

Chatons · 05/06/2020 17:10

Maybe her lady-beard confuses people?

Coconuttts · 05/06/2020 17:11

Girl

asmallplace · 05/06/2020 17:11

Girl but only because the frills on the cuffs and hem.

I put my son in a light pink top and leggings the other day. Very cute. Was funny when a lady in the park said 'hello princess' to him. Some people are wired that way.

tiredanddangerous · 05/06/2020 17:12

I was going to say either a girl or a boy in his older sisters hand me downs!
