Was excited to send a present to a friend who I haven't seen in a year.
Was horrified when the email read ' delivery tomorrow ..to my own address' 🤦
Was distracted on the Internet and forgot to put in their address!

Put some chocolates outside for our lovely postmen. Saw someone at the door in a high vis taking the chocs , wasn't our postman but a different delivery man who thought ' I'll have those !
Had to go and buy more chocolates.

Feel it's all going wrong 😆
Tell me your cock ups to make me feel a bit better ..

Practised wearing a face covering while going to a small local shop. Took my mask down to speak to everyone doh. The lady at the till was struggling to pass my items under her perspex protective screen and said 'I'll just move this out of the way' and removed the whole screen during our transaction. Doh for both of us 😂.

I went to Tesco yesterday and wore my mask for the first time. My glasses kept fogging up I could hardly see where I was going with the trolley. I then had an eye appointment in Specsavers and they were so conscientious with hygiene it was almost comical. I had my temperature taken going in door and then my eye exam took ages as again my mask made the examination equipment fog up and the optician was wearing a mask and a visor so she was fogging up . Then when I was picking out new frames myself and the lady helping me to choose just started pissing ourselves laughing at how mental it all is. She said she works as an assistant in an opticians but she was dressed like someone about to do surgery. It's all a bit surreal at times.

The masks are horrible arnt they?
Some people just jump away from me as if I have the actual plague.
It is all so surreal and tomorrow I have a parcel coming to myself that I don't even want.
This time last year it was all so boring and normal!
