Any ebay users, Placed orders and they don't seem to exist?

I ordered 6 items from ebay yesterday, I got a confirmation email about five minutes later, which showed all the items I ordered, with the estimated delivery dates. got on with my day.

I checked my bank balance today and noticed the money for the orders I placed had not come out, so I have just gone to my ebay account and when I go to my purchase history it is blank, None of the things I ordered yesterday are there and they are all now in my watch list.

Do I need to place the order again? for the record I have the money in my bank to cover the order. This has never happened before which is why I have no clue what to do from here.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Did you pay using PayPal? Can you check in there?

I used my debit card, I do not have paypal.

Have you googled the issue there are probably others who have had it happen.

Have you checked the seller still exists? If eBay banned them or they deleted their account would that make everything disappear?

Have you contacted eBay?

The same seller or different ones. Different sellers would indicate a problem with you and your payment method.

Were they UK sellers? There should be details to contact the seller directly. Not sure where you stand buying on a debit card to overseas accounts.
Not helpful now, but for the future, I'd consider getting Paypal even just for eBay, then you are fully protected if this turns out to be suspicious.

FYI- there is an ebay community forum which I was only aware of recently. They might be able to help with the query also.

It was all different sellers, one being musicmagpie, It was only a few dvds and a dvd player, Been using the same ebay account and debit card for about a year now and never had this before.

It is now saying 'This order wasn't successful. Order cost has not been included in the total amount.'

Just googled that and people are saying to use a different payment method.
