How do asda click and collect deliveries work?

I've never used this, how does it work?

They don’t. Always several items missing so stopped using them.

You order online, select a time when you want to collect. Drive to Asda, go to the click and collect bay, type in your order number and they bring out your shopping in boxes (bagged last time due to covid) you load it into the boot then drive home.

Ah, to add to your confusion, ours you type in the code and it releases a locker at a time until you’ve collected it all.
