Outward Squint ...(Exotropia)

My Dc has had an outward suint in both eyes , since birth.
Only noticeable to those who know and when she is tired.
We returned to optician this week as this has worsened/become more obvious, in the last 6 weeks.
We are now on a refferal to see specialist ( no idea of waiting list locally) but her vision overall is ok, no glasses required.

Has anyone experienced this? what was the outcome..Operation/patch ect?
Thanks

Hi my son has the same and has regular Orthpotist and optometrist appts at the hospital. His is constant alternating exetropia. He really struggles with steps and did not walk till 2. He will need eye surgery as each eye has normal vision but eyes don’t work together. Disappointingly I have been advised that surgery will be cosmetic and unlikely to improve his depth perception as if 2.5 yrs old now even though he was picked up under age 1. Just wondering if you have noticed any mobility issues with steps ?
