How do I stop wanting a baby?

So this is probably a silly question but anyway.
Me and dh have a just turned 2 year old. I really want a second baby. For our first I knew I wanted a child, we discussed it, dh felt the same and luckily i got pregnant very quickly. This feeling is different. Its an absolute yearning for a baby, I cant help it.

But. Dh doesnt want another yet. So obviously we won't have another until he is ready. But how do I stop the desperate wanting for another child?

You can’t. You just learn to live with not getting everything you want.

For me that involves being glad for what I do have. But whatever works for you.
