What do you drink on a typical day?

Just your bog standard day/workong day etc.

Mine:-

Two cups of tea (milk, no sugar) - one first thing, one around 5pm
Two cups of coffee (no milk, no sugar) - mid morning and mid afternoon
One bottle sparkling water (330ml) - throughout the day
Glass of wine or a bottle of beer with my evening meal

2 coffees, 4 teas, litre of fizzy water weekdays. Add a g&t in the bath and wine with dinner at the weekend.
Have an ice lolly most summer days too which probably counts.

On a working day, usually have a cup of tea when u get to work then alternate between water and summer fruits juice throughout the day

4 teas with semi skimmed and a canderal tab.

A small diet coke (mini cans)

1L water on a hoit day, half that if its cooler.

Weekends include wine, varying amounts Wine

2 cappuccinos at home before leaving for work (when I did...)

3 / 4 litres of sparking water.

That’s it, Mon - Fri

Friday - Sunday as above but with gin whenever I fancy one after about 5pm each day!

Apart from the odd alcoholic drink the only thing i have is water. Probably about 6-8 glasses a day.

at least 6 mugs of tea (varying type,, ordinary strong tea for the first 3 mugs (!!) than in the afternoon it could be Imperial, Earl Grey, Darjeeling or mint) than ordinary tea at night which works out at least 8 mugs. Funnily enough people give me tea based presents for Christmas & birthday -I don't know why Grin!

1 fruit juice when I get up, usually apple or orange
1 or 2 instant coffees with 2 sugars/ syrup
Up to 4 glasses squash sometimes made with fizzy water throughout day, with meals etc.
Occasionally a can of something fizzy, sometimes 2 or 3 wines/ beers/ alcohol and mixer in evening
Water throughout night (breastfeeding)

Then water for the rest of the day.
Sometimes a hot chocolate at bedtime.

Mon to Thurs

In the morning 3 mugs of instant coffee with skimmed milk
Throughout the day 2 mugs of tea with skimmed milk
1 or 2 herbal teas
Approx 6 pints of water.

Weekends, same but with added wine in the evening

Just water, and one latte mid afternoon. Nothing else. On Friday and Saturday nights I'll have a couple of alcoholic drinks, it varies each week depending on what I fancy.

1 Tea first thing in the morning
3 or 4 pints of water all day
1 strong coffee in the morning
Sometimes a can of lemonade or diet coke at lunchtime
If drinking then gin, wine, etc in the evening

  • Black coffee and glass of water in bed.
  • 2-3l of water throughout the day - prefer sparkling but we get through it so quickly we have usually run out. I need a Soda Stream though can’t imagine how much we’d have to spend on gas canisters!
  • Herbal tea (usually liquorice and cinnamon) when I’ve got up
  • Kombucha mid morning
  • Another coffee late morning, usually black but sometimes with cream.
  • Sometimes another coffee early afternoon (have recently switched this to decaf) and I LOVE an after dinner espresso but it interferes with my sleep nowadays so that’s rare.
  • A couple of times a week probably a g&t or a kir, maybe a kir royale about 4.30/5pm and then a glass of wine with dinner.
  • Generally just water and herbal tea after 6pm but sometimes a glass or two more wine.

I do go to the toilet A LOT and can’t really contemplate going very far afield in lockdown without knowing what the toilet provisions are! If I drink less water I get headachey very quickly.

1.5 litres of water usually throughout the day
X 2 Nescafé cappuccino sachets (1st thing and mid afternoon)
X 2 coke zero's (with lunch and dinner)

3 nights a week at the moment it'll be some sort of alcohol with dinner instead and sometimes in the evening as well (usually Prosecco, gin or beer).

1 litre of water throughout the day.
Cup of chai tea after work 4pmish
Water until bedtime.
Occasional posh tonic in the evening.

1 mug of filter coffee
3-4 cups of fruit tea (no caffeine)
1-2 glasses of fizzy water with some cordial in.

More tea on weeknights. Wine or a G&T weekends.

I was thinking about this as I hardly ever drink anything and it's an awful habit. I just never feel thirsty and have to really force myself to finish a drink.

I have never hit my water target on my fitbit and cannot believe that anyone out there can!! Blush

Ha, as per my name I usually have multiple drinks on the go at any one time.

I always have a glass of water by my side. I'll alternate between fruit tea and regular tea (around five cups) throughout the day. Might have a beer or wine with dinner, then a peppermint tea (this often arrives while I'm still finishing my wine and water) and then a camomile tea before bed.

Sometimes a fizzy squash if I need some sugar! I probably get through around 2.5 litres of water a day in addition to all the tea.

I shudder to think how many cups, but generally 2 large pots of coffee whilst working and a couple of cups of tea in the evening. It's a tonne of caffeine to be honest.

A cup of coffee first thing.

Red Bull around lunchtime

2 cups of tea (one normal, one peppermint)

2 glasses of water

A can of Coke Zero/ other fizzy drink.

Cup of camomile tea with lemons in before bed sometimes.

Very rarely drink alcohol at home but might have a glass of prosecco, wine or a can of pre-mixed cocktail.
Sometimes a vodka over ice.

I should really knock the daily Red Bull but it gets me through the afternoon with a very active (never sits down!!) 4 year old, who's up at 6am. I'm suffering insomnia at the moment and rarely get more than 2 hours sleep a night.

At least 10 cups of earl grey a day (no milk/sugar), small grapefruit juice, 2litres sparkling water and too much wine. I drink water through the night. I pee a lot!

AM: 2 or 3 cups of strong black coffee

From 10 until evening: lots of water

Evening: 1 or 2 alcohols.
