Book recommendations for 6 year olds

DD is 5.5 and obsessed with books and stories. We have done a lot of reading together over lockdown. We have read many Roald Dahl books, as well as The Worst Witch series. She also enjoyed Flat Stanley, the Owl who was afraid of the dark.

I was just looking for some other recommendations in this sort of ball park. Any ideas?

All good series which my kids have loved.

@WelcomeToTheNorth that was actually the one we both enjoyed the most. It surprised how me how much she took to it, and it's amazing for vocabulary. We watched the 2006 movie afterwards.
