Hi, im about 5 months pregnant with first For the first time in the whole pregnancy I missed a meal tonight, just lots went wrong sort of thing. Please tell me the baby will be ok? I've eaten ok all day ( and everyday before, and will in the future ) and also had late afternoon snacks today which included a sandwich, couple of coconut biscuits and a wedge of cheese... Which is why I didn't eat the last meal and then after that everything went wrong. I don't even feel hungry now,

Heya, you sound really anxious! Have you eaten enough all day? I don't think the baby knows or cares what time it is! I used to have a lot of late night snacks when pregnant.

Why not grab something now?

You and the baby will be fine, there's really nothing to worry about. Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Also if you're full, you're full! I really wouldn't worry. Has something happened?

Thank you, Ive had cereal, a small roast dinner and all the snack I mentioned above plus a banana. I am a bit, just being silly, already been told by Midwifes to carry on going what I have been cause everything is ok.
Just been one of those nights and then those fun hormones that make you cry for no reason turn up.

I had Hyperemesis and went days at a time without keeping a single thing down for the first 4 or 5 months. I'm 32 weeks and my baby is fine. Please don't stress yourself out about this - you'll both be ok!

Yes you will be fine honestly
Lots of women around the world fast for Ramadan and have no ill effects on the baby

Unless you have diabetes your body will keep feeding baby from.your fat and muscle if it has to. Plus your body will tell you when you need to eat. If your not hungry you very probably dont need that meal tonight.
