"Amazon gift"

In th 29th I was looking for water bottle for LO.

I found one but delivery was expensive so I left it.

Next day there was a knock at the door. Went to the door within 10 seconds and no one was there.

Thought I was going crazy.

Next morning I went out to wipe the the window. Just behind our bins I saw an amazon prime package. My name, surname and address.

I thought these might be the pens I ordered.

I open it and the bottle I was going to buy but didn't buy..

Now I was confused. Checked my amazon account and it's definetly not been purchased by me. Checked my bank account and nothing taken from amazon.

Went back to the box and there was a gift receipe with name and surname. I don't know who the person is and when I googled it was a book author.

There was no message.

Clearly this must be a scam? When I contact amazon they had no idea what was going on.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Nope, very strange...

Actually quiet scary now.. normally when I get deliveries delivery man waits for me to open the door then leaves. This person left way quick :/

It's probably just a coincidence. Bit of a weird one, but not that unusual.

Did you put it in a wish list that wasn't private?

Hi @SpillTheTeaa no I didn't put it on the wish list. :/
