Spag Bol.
Little ds pulled his face & declared that he doesn’t like it.. then ate 3 helpings.
Pffft.
DH pulled his face and polished off a big bowl too.

Chuffed, I’m a shit cook, really really shit so it was a small win.

TheDuchessofDukeStreet · 02/06/2020 18:34

DP is having oven chips with sausages from the farm shop and a bit of salad. I’m just off nights and body clock out of kilter so I’m having a glass of wine and an ice lolly. I have chicken and wraps in the fridge so will make a fajita or two later if hungry. DP doesn’t like them.

AuntieMarys · 02/06/2020 18:37

UsernameTaken76 · 02/06/2020 18:47

Spicy tomato, chicken & asparagus risotto

MummyInTheNecropolis · 02/06/2020 18:52

Lime and coriander chicken with roasted tomatoes, red onions and courgette, served with rice. Tomorrow will be prawn noodle salad with mango

Marmite27 · 02/06/2020 18:53

Turkey mince tacos!

BearSoFair · 02/06/2020 18:59

Chicken pesto pasta tonight. Chunks of chicken breast, red onion, red pepper, and pesto all stirred through pasta. Nice and simple for when it's too warm to spend a long time cooking!

Bluewavescrashing · 02/06/2020 18:59

Steak, chips and peas 😋

40somethingJBJ · 02/06/2020 19:02

Ds asked for lasagne so that’s what I’ve made, more fool me in this heat!

Sarahlou63 · 02/06/2020 19:05

Chinese takeaway - the first in over 3 months!!

BobbinThreadbare123 · 02/06/2020 19:07

Yesterday was homemade soup and a pasty from Morrisons bakery. Today was fish, chips and mushy peas (the oven and tinned varieties) and tomorrow will probably be a salad Nicoise with some cous cous. Got a beans on toast and a chicken schwarma to come later in the week.

Imissmoominmama · 02/06/2020 19:12

We had lamb and mint burgers with herby wedges, coleslaw and salad- all homemade.

I had become really jaded re cooking, so we had a couple of takeaways last week, which cured me!

Talulahoopla · 02/06/2020 19:24

King prawn Thai red curry tonight. Vietnamese Pork tomorrow.

Subscribed to simply cook and it's amazing. So many more options than I could ever think of and all take no longer than 20 mins. I was so bored before so this will mix it up for a bit.

catlovingdoctor · 02/06/2020 19:30

Working through the evening and probably into the early hours to finish some university essays, so I've had a lamb shawarma and chips!

Theforest · 02/06/2020 19:32

Roast chicken tonight. Yay!

MysweetAudrina · 02/06/2020 19:43

Posh pizza, cheesy coleslaw and a few cajun baby potatoes with chorizo. Not the healthiest but I picked up the pizza to have as a lunch and then dh brought home the exact same one today so thought I would use one up. Dd had a bacon chop and the potatoes and ds11 has made himself 3 different types of chips

Spikeypineapples · 02/06/2020 21:02

Jambalaya

MrsJonesAndMe · 02/06/2020 21:07

Monday: roast chicken dinner
Tuesday: ham, crusty bread & salads

Thursday: chilli and rice

HTH!

SpillTheTeaa · 02/06/2020 21:42

I made DS who is 10 months old mild chicken curry with veg.
Me and partner had fajitas (not sure if DS can have them) with skin on fries

happypotamus · 02/06/2020 22:21

We had pea and mint risotto.

Spikeypineapples · 04/06/2020 19:58

Yesterday was m and s dine in
Pulled beef and porcini in pastry, potato rostis and carrots and cabbage
Sticky toffee pudding and custard - delish

Tonight was spag bol

mbosnz · 04/06/2020 20:08

Tonight was chicken bastarding goddamned f'ing lasagne, the MN large salad, garlic bread, and it could be too much wine, or I'll be looking up legs of lamb, patios, and how to slowcook children.

maddiemookins16mum · 04/06/2020 21:18

I cut up some potatoes into large wedges, tossed them in garlic, olive oil, salt/pepper and a good squeeze of lemon/oregano. After 15 mins in the oven I gave them a turn and put some seasoned/scored chicken thighs on top and roasted for another 35 or so minutes. Served with a Greek salad, it was lovely.
