How can I replicate this exercise outside the gym?

I go to the gym pretty regularly, 3-4 times a week. Or at least I did.

I used to do a lot of incline work, some running but mainly brisk max incline walking.

I've been trying for the last 6 weeks to buy a treadmill for home use but have given up now as nowhere has stock, and the suggestion seems to be gyms will open again in a month or so.

But what can I do in the meantime? My legs are becoming so out of condition! I do go out walking/ jogging but I live just outside London and it is flat all round here, no hills for miles.

Any ideas on how I can replicate incline work? I have googled but could only find stuff on building a DIY treadmill which is a bit beyond my skillset.

I have considered a bike too, but they are in short supply too and I am not confident enough a rider to ride on the busy roads round here.

Any ideas please?

Interval training on road bridges? That's what I do for cycling (in the flat land that is the Fen). Bridges over railways tend to be nice and steep. Sprint up, walk down, sprint up, walk down.
