Kind chemist.

I just went to the chemist for antihistamines, I wanted Pollenase (Cetirizine Hydrochloride) which were £1.49 a box and Clarityn (Loratadine) which were £3.49 a box. I wanted two of each because we all suffer so we go through them quickly

So the chemist looked at the prices, said oh they are too expensive, I will charge you £1.00 each.

Then sold me ten pounds worth of tablets for four pounds.

I am not complaining, it was very kind of him, just never happened to me before so I thought I would share it here, good will an all that.

Any random acts of kindness to share?

I was standing in a very long line trying to get in our asda the other day. An old lady unsteady on her feet clearly just struggling to walk walked past me. I stopped her and let her in the line in front of me.

Seems silly expecting oaps to stand in lines that take bloody forever to go down. There should be a separate line imo

That was kind of the chemist

I’m baffled by that OP! Grin

I was baffled too. Never in my life has a business owner said, oh no thats too expensive, here let me charge you less.

That was really kind of you. I agree, it does seem a bit unfair expecting the elderly to wait, especially in this heat.

I had the manager of a Lush branch give me a bottle of shampoo once. No idea why, I was willing to buy it.

Many years ago DH and I hired a floor sander for the weekend. When we returned it, the man said, "OK, that's....£price" (price was correct). Then said "Gosh, that's expensive" and knocked a good third off the price! Nice man.

I know it's just a small thing but its really made me smile.

Nice to see it happens to others Smile
