Daddo. I always assumed it meant dad, but it doesn't. If I ask where Daddo is, it's on the ground, but with a wide sweep of the arm. Any ideas? And what odd words have you had?

Shadow!

Second for shadow! My DS is obsessed with his shadow.

LolaLollypop · 01/06/2020 22:28

Definitely shadow!! Grin

Can I join in? My DD keeps talking about something to do with Paw Patrol. Originally sounded like "Fucker" (that was interesting when playing outside) but now sound a more like "Ducker"??! Something to do with when they are all heading out to save Adventure Island from impending doom... "DUCKER!!"

truck? trucker? tracker?!

Delbelleber · 01/06/2020 23:25

How funny! My son used to talk about dado but turns out he meant our dog Fido!

Shadow is a good guess.

Toddlers struggle with "ss" and "sh" sounds. I spent 2 hours trying to figure out "nak bok" Hmm it was snack box!!

Oh I never thought of shadow, that's a good thought though as I have been teaching her what shadows are!
