How would you have your wedding?

I’m at the initial stage of planning my wedding for next year and I’m looking for ideas. We both want it to be a small and low-key affair and possibly even tempted to elope! Just being nosy and wondering how other people had/would have theirs?

I would elope. Somewhere lovely, that meant something to us. Casual party afterwards if you think it necessary (to keep the peace with relatives etc.)

We did a small registry office affair with just very close relatives. I’m so glad we didn’t spend tens of thousands and do the big thing that so many of our friends did, it’s not for me.

We eloped. Well, not technically because everyone knew we were doing it but we went to New York and got married, just the two of us, in Central Park.

It was perfect. We didn’t even have a party when we came back as we both hate being the centre of attention

We paid an agency to deal with everything from permits to the officiant to the photographer. We then spent three hours getting our photos taken around the park/Times Square/Grand Central. I love our photos so much.
