Hi,

How often do you do housework and what do you do?

I feel like I obsess if I don't get everything done in one go!!!

For example, what do you do daily/weekly? Etc

I leave it for as long as possible and then do the absolute bare minimum.

I'm with rats , I hate housework and preparing lockdown we had a cleaner. She'll come back when I return to work but for now I just ignore most of it.

We do a proper whole house clean on Saturday mornings. Other than that the kitchen counters get wiped every day, the bathroom basin and loo gets wiped every day. That it really.

Oooooh sorry I didn't check back earlier. I've bored myself to death on my own thread Blush

I do EVERYTHING once a week, usually a Sunday and try to stay on top of little bits as I go along but it never seems to be "enough". I think I want to live in a show home but in reality with small kids it's not possible!

As far as I'm concerned how much housework anyone does is entirely up to them, I don't care how much anyone else does and I wouldn't expect anyone to be interested in what I do.

There is a whole housekeeping topic on here where you might find posters with routines and schedules etc is that's the type of thing you're after. Out of curiosity I joined some Facebook housework groups, there's some next level cleaning going on there Smile

I try and do a little bit each day but it feels impossible to ever make a difference!

teawitht · 01/06/2020 18:53

Sorry I didn't realise housekeeping had its own topic. I thought chat was for anything and everything - hence why I posted.

As it happens I am interested in other people's routines which is why I asked. I don't expect people to expect me to take an interest Confused

It's more the untidiness than the cleanliness that gets to me. It just always looks like a bomb has dropped Blush
