Early pregnancy bleeding getting heavier - any hope?

Help! I’m going out of my mind. I’m just over 4 weeks pregnant but have a poas addiction so I’ve known for about a week. Super super faint spotting started on Sunday (yesterday) about an hour after a spinning session. Little bit super pale almost peach on tp when wiping only. That stopped after an hour or so but when I woke Up this morning there was a larger spot on wiping and it was darker. But then almost nothing till lunch time. Then a little more super pale peach on wiping - small amounts. But now I’ve had some dull cramping (but did that early in my last pregnancy which was healthy) but now I’ve got more bleeding and it’s darker - not bright red but definitely looks like the beginning of period - slightly rusty. Few spots on a panty liner and then more on wiping - but now stopped again.
I’m waiting for my second HCG (first taken Saturday as I need progesterone to get pregnant due to very short luteal phase) but it’s not for another 2 days and results will take nearly a day.
Has anyone had anything similar and it not be a chemical? TIA

It's incredibly hard to know because you are still so early. But to put it in perspective, I had heavy gushing bleeding with both of my healthy pregnancies. The first one it was at 10 weeks and the 2nd time it was between 7-9 weeks. The first one it was only for a day or so with a bit of brown spotting later, but with my 2nd, I bleed for about 2 weeks straight, it would just be heavier or lighter depending on the day. The only pregnancy were I had limited bleeding (only a bit of spotting was when I had a mc - it was a missed mc). It can be completely normal to bleed some around the time you would have gotten your period. I think you know that you just need to hope for the best and wait it out, but I know it's not easy.

I had similar at six weeks, slight cramping and spotting. Totally freaked out. Phoned EPU and was reassured it was 'settling in' bleeding. I still stressed of course but it did stop and DS is now three. Fingers crossed for you.

Thank you for sharing your experiences. I’ve managed to get a referral to the EPU from my GP as they won’t accept self referrals - but that won’t go off to them till tmw so goodness knows when I might go in! So still sitting and waiting - guess it’s going to be a tough few days either way! I’d love to think it’s possible that it will all work out but I’ve got some lower back pain now and although spotting has stopped (for the time being) I think I had back pain with my first mc 3.5 yrs ago.

I had bleeding. In fact I had my menstrual cycle as normal for the whole 9 months. And it was fine. Get it checked.

Wow luckylavender that sounds super stressful! Mine is so stop start - little first thing and then peaks around lunch time and then the last two days it’s then stopped until the next day basically - but the next day it starts and it’s redder so fresher. Wondering if it has anything to do with the progesterone suppositories that I’m on but I might just be clasping at straws. Waiting for repeat bloods and an EPU appointment now. I’m still hopeful but I wonder if that is causing me more heartbreak in the long run!

Just as an update for anyone on the future googling/scrolling, my spotting started Sunday 31st May, it almost totally stopped Wednesday 6th but start with light flow on Thursday 7th which got heavier on Friday 8th. I’ve had bloods done in the interim, 39 on 14 dpo, 148 on 18 dpo, 245 20 dpo and 281 on 24 dpo. Doctor has now told me to stop my progesterone support and to expect the moderate flow to increase to full mc in next few days.
