Sex after pregnancy

Had my first baby a few months ago and my libido has disappeared. I have always had a normal to high sex drive so I’m worried that it will never come back :( is this normal? Obviously I’m exhausted like any new mum but I just have zero interest right now, I would rather just watch Netflix. Has anyone else had the same?

Yep, completely normal. Don't worry about it. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, concentrate on your baby, and yourself and the rest will fall into place when it's s'posed to x

Everyone is different Smile

Breastfeeding can make some women lose their libido. Sleep deprivation makes most people lose their libido.

Absolutely zero interest in sex for the whole time i breastfed. Once I stopped, at around 4 months, and my period returned, I became interested in sex again! We didn't dtd until baby was 6 months old x

After I had my first baby at the age of 19 I lost all my friends because I was pregnant with my son then I got into a new relationship with a 38 year old and I was 19 years old whilst I was seeing him then started sleeping with him and then found out I was pregnant again with a little girl and my partner decided to name her harley-quinn I suffered from post-natal depression with my son but not with my daughter so some days I can be happy or very emotional and never knew if it would go away .
And then when me and harley-quinns dad split up I felt like I was alone in everything I did and I wasn't much help to no one as all I ever got was people shouting at me for no reason at all .

I had no idea breastfeeding would have anything to do with libido, I am currently breastfeeding but planning to stop at the end of the month so we will see then.
