First pedal bike recommendations

For a 3 yr old who is super speedy on his balance bike? Big brother has an isla bike that his dad bought but I can't stretch to that, even second hand, and none locally.

I'd like something lightweight, similar to the islabike, but less expensive. Is there anything like this around?

I did loads of research on this as my son was a whizz on his bike, like yours. This bike was excellent, and we've continued to buy the next size up each time he grows out of the old one.

Thanks, I had looked at these but wasn't sure how it would compare. It says age 4 to 6, but he's tall, so I think it would be ok.

Woom 2, or maybe 3 depending how tall he is. Probably just as expensive/cheap as Isla bike though

After my 5 year old learnt to ride on an Isla at a Bikability class, I got him a Frog from the Bike Club. He's very small and had struggled with the heavy bike he'd had previously from Halfords. He's got on great with it as I'm due to exchange next week for the next size up after a lock down growth spurt.

Make sure it’s light. For DS we bought him a lovely first pedal bike but it was actually very heavy for him and he took ages getting going with it. We then bought him a much lighter bike and he improved dramatically.

I have been looking fur second hand frog and islabike, but none locally. I'll have a look for the specific fb page though, thanks. His balance bike is a frog which was second hand.
