Following on from the silliest things we've been asked.

Twins who I only knew one sister, but not for long.
A friend of mine said it was their birthday, Twin 1 was 30, and Twin 2 was 32. Eh, that makes no sense, they are twins.
Yes, 30 too!

I went to watch titanic when it first came out in the cinema, with my 4 of my friends from school .
As the boat was snapping in half and sinking. I remember asking my friend ..
" so did the titanic ever reach America "

Also I've never lived it down 🤔

My husband was fitting a new light fitting on our landing and turned off the power to the house. I said he couldn't do that for the next 15 minutes as I needed the toilet and I wouldn't be able to flush it Hmm

Mine is also about twins. I have twin friends. I asked their mother where the twins’ younger sister was born, then asked her where twin 1 was born and then... where twin 2 was born 🤦🏻‍♀️

I bumped into a woman who’d been a trainee at my old school when I started a new job. I’d had a couple of trainees linked to my form and I mixed her up with one of the others.

Me: Oh I remember you! You were about eight months pregnant!

Her: I don’t have children.

Me: Are you sure?

I have a neurological condition which results in my words very very often being a bit jumbled. For instance I told my H that he really did need to remember to pick up coleslaw today because the house was just plastered in dust now and was playing havoc with our allergies. Yes, I advised him to clean our home with coleslaw. I meant furniture polish 🙈

Driving past a little marina/harbour on the north wales coast. At low tide...
When the water comes in, those poor boats will sink!

And ds, aged about 9. Looking in the freezer. What are you looking for, ds?
Chip mix. I want to make some chips please.

Years ago, I was walking past a supermarket and saw a friend who works there so popped into say hello. And the first thing I said to her (she was in uniform) oh are you working today? Blush doh!

My cousin found a kitten and was looking after it. I watched him take out the Whiskas bottle of kitten formula and feed the kitten several times. When he mentioned that he was giving it "cat milk" in a conversation with friends, I mused out loud
"It must be quite hard to milk a cat."

DH: Oh look - a shop called Peterson's. That's my mate's surname.
Me: Which mate?
DH: Chris.
Me: Chris who?
DH: Peterson...
