When I've never been on one in my life! There are so many YouTube clips I don't know where to start. Do you have any recommendations? Something that explains how you should have your feet placed correctly etc and basic moves, technique.

DC(8) got it two days ago, can balance ok, push with back foot to start, direct it a bit (on a narrow path) jump off it, jump up and down on it whilst it's moving and start with the back of the board on the ground and front up in the air. Wants to eventually learn some tricks.

I’m more of a roller skater than a skateboarder but I used to skateboard a bit. Finding a ramp/bowl so he can have a play would be good....not starting from the top but from the bottom and push up a bit, then come down.....just doing that will help balance and confidence.

Learning to Ollie would be good. Keep him busy for a bit.

Thanks. We watched them today and she tried a few things out this afternoon. Very proud she can now do a kick turn! Doesn't want to try jumping yet thank goodness!
