Awaiting amniocentesis

Hi all this is the first time on chat and just wanted to to be able to chat
I'm 41 and After 1:78 of downs after first NHS screening test and also having a low PappA (when having scan midwife said all looks fine😕) I decided to have a harmony test done as a follow up, I've just received yesterday that the sad news is I'm in the high positive bracket
Devestasted and emotional right now I've been offered an amniocentesis which they are ringing Menon Monday to book in and wondered if any of you have been through this and any positive outcomes
This is my fourth child I have two girls aged 10 and 9 and the youngest only being 6 months he was born last year
This was a surprise pregnancy and wondering if it's gone wrong with falling pregnant so soon 😢
A nervous wait as they cant do amniocentesis until 16 weeks and currently I'm 14w5d xx

I can't really give you any reassurance, as I am sort of going through a similar thing, but wanted to respond as you hadn't had anything back, and give you a virtual hug.
We've been told our baby's head is measuring small and although our blood tests came back with low likelihood for Downs Syndrome etc we have now been offered an amnio and I feel like I've done so much googling and research but don't have any of the answers I am searching for!
How did yours go, trying to work out the dates and seems like you may have had it now?
