Help please. Venue for picnic Basingstoke area with parking.

Meeting my son for a socially distanced picnic on Tuesday. Not seen him since February. Want to meet about halfway between our homes which is roughly Basingstoke but happy to go somewhere a bit further towards London for a nice spot. Easy parking. Loos would be great but that's probably holy grail territory! TIA.

You could try booking a slot at the Vyne National Trust property just outside Basingstoke. Eastrop park is nice in Basingstoke town centre, that way you could park at the shopping centre and walk (Festival Place shopping centre). Crabtree plantation although no toilets but parking is at their car park or nearby residential street. All good picnic spots. Have a lovely time!

Thank you. I'll check those out. Vyne NT was my thought but all NT properties in England are sold out and many were within 30mins of opening for booking.
