Epilepsy

Hi all my DD has epilepsy and has had 3 seizures but thank goodness since starting medication hasn't had one.

At the beginning of this year for over a month she was suffering from pains in her head on one side and smelling smells not there. So we spoke to her epilepsy nurse who requested a repeat EEG. This came out normal as did the other ones in the past (apparently this happens quite alot ). She was diagnosed through a video that I took.

Since the normal EEG weve been told we can wean her off keppra.

But since weaning her she has started to get the head pains with each reduced dose. She says the pain is on the side and sometimes stays sometimes goes quickly. The consultant has said keep an eye on it as children dont normally get this. And if it continues have a repeat MRI.

So my question is if anyone has had any experience of specific area head pain when weaning off keppra.

Thank you
