I was thinking today that camping is the ideal social distancing holiday provided it is limited to units with their own toilet facility?

Obviously toilet/shower blocks are an issue but a campervan or caravan with it's own loo is basically your own house. Most campsites near here have a rule that you have to park 6m from other units. For those with set pitches, they could sell every other pitch.

I thought the same, until I thought of families with young children who go off and make friends and play with fellow campers. Maybe okay for adults only or with my teenage children who don't like talking to anyone (including us!)
