Looking for alternatives for online "fun" work team call

Hi

We have an online team call every Friday since lockdown started, and we've been having weekly quizzes that we take it in turns to set.

It's my turn next week and I'd like to do something other than another quiz.
We did do Pictionary one week via www.drawize.com/ so I'm thinking of something silly and fun that people won't have to think too hard about and will have fun

Has anyone got any recommendations for any online games that they've used ?
Thanks Smile

No one has "fun" on these enforced work fun activities. They are horrible!

There are plenty of quizzes about if my company is anything to go by.

@Eeyoresstickhouse

I know there are plenty of quizzes about - that's why I said I'd like to do something other than a quiz Smile

And actually the Pictionary one was fun !

Stop the bus?

What about Ditloids, the numbers & letters quizzes.
Eg - 26 LotA
26 letters of the alphabet

There are loads on-line

Thanks for the suggestions:

Bingo - I'm 100% sure I won't be able to persuade them to play that - I was hoping for something more interactive and fun.

Stop the bus - I've checked a couple of the online versions and both are for individual players with nobody else. I need something that either splits us into teams to play against each other, or allows us all to play as individuals against everyone else (if you see what I mean - interactive between us rather than each person playing their own game separately)

Ditloids - I've found lots of the questions online but can't (yet) find a way of us all playing online.

I'll keep looking Smile

I saw Macmillan advertising a murder mystery party on their Facebook page, you pay a donation and they send you all the roles and the stories etc, not sure if it would be too involved for a work call though. Scavenger hunt? First person back with each item gets the point?

What kind of thing do you have in your quizzes? We had some good food-based ones this week (for which I cannot take the credit) - one was photos of chocolate bars to identify, the second was pasta shapes to identify Grin

We had a team game where you had to locate in your house and bring back as fast as possible a succession of random items (a hat, a toothbrush, a chocolate biscuit, etc.)

That was just for 5 min but it was good fun and a nice change from quizzes. It only works in a team where no one has mobility issues though

Speak for yourself! My team is quite funny and we all end up laughing Grin

Charades? That was hilarious!

The obligatory pet introduction to your colleagues is also pretty fun.

It's only a 30 min call so not sure there'd be enough time for a murder mystery (plus it's on a Friday afternoon so it's always a but random in terms of how many dial in)

We've already had quizzes to identify the chocolate bar by showing a portion of the wrapper, and another one was about identifying various kitchen implements. There was another one which was identifying 12 bridges...... So the quizzes do vary a bit.

The scavenger hunt sounds interesting and might be a possibilty (although the chances of finding an uneaten chocolate biscuit in my house are miniscule !)
There's a few people on the team that I haven't met in person yet (we're spread across different sites) so not sure about mobility issues.....

Charades sounds like a possibility too - I'm pretty sure we've all got webcams that work (well, I will have by then Smile)

Thanks everyone !!
