Feeling of baby moving in tummy but not pregnant!?

since my second baby who is now 2 and a half I have felt flutters or what I can describe as the feeling of a baby moving inside me! The last month (I guess) it has become more frequent and happening every single day and a large number of times! Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone had any feedback from a doctor etc? I will make an appointment with the doctor next week but its started to bother me now. May be relevant that I do take the POP pill. Thank you

Could it be a muscle spasm, or trapped wind?

picklemewalnuts · 29/05/2020 19:34

How sure are you you aren't pregnant? Last time this popped up, OP was 5 months gone.

There is a very similar thread running currently. The OP just found out she’s due in August.

I'd take a pregnancy test to rule that out first!

Hernia...wind... Baby!

Rebelwithallthecause · 29/05/2020 19:43

Have you actually taken a pregnancy test to rule it out?

Echobelly · 29/05/2020 19:45

I've had this a couple of times, even a few years later - did take a pg test (though I have the contraceptive implant) and I think it was just wind. It reallly did feel like a baby though!

Sorry yes I should have said I have done a pregnancy test a few weeks back and it was negative. Also when pregnant before I never felt my babies as much as this im sure 🙈.
Thank you Echobelly that is good to know x

Mummato2864 · 29/05/2020 20:52

Its so odd isn't it! I will do another test in the morning to double check but I am pretty sure its not that! Thanks for the input everyone x

Hi Op, did you manage to take another test? Did you find out what it was?

Mummato2864 · 15/06/2020 12:08

Hiya yes another test taken and negative! It seems to have calmed down and its only now and again. Still no idea so assume wind or something!? Very strange x
