am writing in desperation and need help for my best friend. I honestly don't know where to turn.
My bf was married and around three years ago she separated from her husband due to his drug use, financial and emotional abuse. She had custody of two children, ex saw them every other weekend.
Since then the emotional abuse has ramped up horrendously. Over 100 messages a day saying she's a c##t, ugly, pathetic. Absolutely awful and relentless. He keeps saying if she has him back all of this will end. He poisons the oldest child who is ten, and has seen a lot, against his mother. Whenever he goes to stay there he comes back aggressive, violent and unkind. It takes him a week to return to 'normal' and has been known to be physically violent towards his mother , calling her name's that her ex calls her.
A few weeks back the eldest wanted to love with the dad and had been extremely violent and nasty to my bf and her younger daughter. My bf and her ex decided he would stay there a while. Now the ex has decided he doesn't want him anymore and is constantly texting my bf saying about him moving back and being extremely abusive again. When she blocks him, he finds another way to message her via email, another number etc. All of his family started messaging her abuse too. Today, SS and the police turned up at her door accusing her of abusing her children and they were both interviewed. She's in bits and completely broken. I don't know what to do. She is reluctant to report to police because she is so so scared of kids being taken away which is what he always threatens. I've persuaded her to report and she is going to tomorrow. Is there anyone who has been in this situation and can help?
Sorry for long post xx

She needs to report to the police and social services and speak to the school safe guarding team.
