If you could live in a different country for 3-6 months where would you choose?

With all the time to ponder lately, I've been thinking how lovely it would be to live in a different country for up to 6 months. Long enough to soak it up but short enough to not be away from home for long.

If only work, school, finances, etc would allow - sigh

So, just for fun, where would you choose to go?

Tanzania

It is my partner and her daughter's home country - I would really love to spend enough time there to establish whether or not it is somewhere that I could contemplate living permanently as this is a possible plan for the future!

Plus the wildlife and stunning scenery. Her mum lives on the lower slopes of Kilimanjaro.
