Where is everyone using the toilet?

Serious question. Seen a number of Facebook friends going for days out with their family to places over an hour drive. Don't think it would be appropriate to ask on Facebook. But where are people going to use the toilet. I wouldn't mind a day out further than my local places but don't really like the idea of peeing in a bush Confused

Really tired of seeing photos of people at the beach now when I know they live hours away from the coast

Take it up with our Prime Minister, who said people can travel as far as they like for exercise/sunbathing etc.

We went to the beach earlier today (about an hour away), checked before we left & their toilets were open. However one DC is still in nappies & other DC announced in the car she'd wee'd in the sea. DH & I have been fine & could wait till we got home. But DH says I have a vulcanised bladder as I've done full west-coast transatlantic flights without needing the loo before so a few hours at the beach is nothing.

I normally use the loo before venturing out .Pop behind a tree for a wee! All these people holding on for hours ,ladies its not good for you ,Thus is the way to infections!

We can all manage several hours without needing to go, so we just go before leaving home.

I wondered the same thing....our local beach resort towns are packed with gridlocked traffic. No amenities open.

I've been staying local and will continue to do so until everything opens and is safe.

Public loos have been open where we’ve been! Parks and near rivers etc I think it’s just the beach towns that have kept them closed

Babdoc · 29/05/2020 17:34

Public loos are risky, as Corona virus can be present in faeces. We don’t yet know if asymptomatic patients can also excrete it this way, before realising they are ill, but if so, you could be exposed to an infected aerosol of fine droplets in the cubicle, for some time afterwards.
Outdoors, the virus is inactivated by sunlight in about 10 minutes.

Lots of public toilets are open we we live (Norfolk / Suffolk).

We drove to the beach - an hours drive- and used the toilets there. You are allowed to go anywhere you like now as long as you socially distance!

In my district, the public WCs have been re-opened because it is not as bad as having people ***ing in the parks and on the verges.
