A small pot of Vaseline, which has an expiration date of 2007
Ds 17 wants me to throw it away
But Vaseline doesn't go off does it?

I should think an unopened pot would be ok, but if you've used any of it years ago, I'd probably throw it out. (Or use it to grease the hinges on the shed door or something like that)

I remember packing up the In laws house in 2003. They had food with price tickets on showing the half pence decimal. That had gone out of circulation 19 years before in 1984... They insisted on taking them🙄

In my cupboard I found an aerosol of Burneze which I used and finished up on a burnt finger. Went to Boots to replace and found it's no longer made - we worked out I'd bought it 20 years ago at my last flat - did the trick though!

Urgh has anyone read Marilyn Mansons autobiography?

Flash back. 🤢

I'm drinking herbal tea bags that went out of date 10 years ago.

Vaseline should be fine, it's been sitting about since the Cretaceous before they put it in a jar.

I've just been baking with dd and we used cream of tartar that expired in 2007.
