... I know there must be loads of you... bu I have a specific question:

If they have a stage name and in particular a one-word one, what do they introduce themselves as?

“Hi, I’m Bono”? Or Paul?

What do Lady Gagas friends call her?

Do Stings friends actually call him Sting?

Etc...

I’m intrigued to know who these celebrity friends are... anyone spilling the beans?

I knew someone who vaguely knew Dermot O'Leary. I would have ask him if people called him Sean but he broke my friends heart so I think it would be a bit strange to message out of the blue to ask such a question.
I cannot believe that Beyoncé is her real name, although I sort of can!

Didn't know Dermot was really called Sean. Saying that I know a few people who use their middle name instead of their first so not that unusual.

This is not exactly the worlds biggest celebrity but I was surprised when I met Irish Eurovision legend Johnny Logan that everyone knows him as Matthew. I got very drunk and embarrassingly star struck with him 😂

I can see how it’s easy to go by two names. I have a nickname developed at school that became the name everyone knew me as for years, even has business cards in that name. I changed career though and used my real name so now I’m known as that by most people but still the nickname to a lot of people including my husband.
