I just can't relax enough to sleep, but it's more than that. I get this feeling, almost like a creepy crawly feeling in my back and the back of my head.
I have to walk around for it to go, and hope I fall asleep before it comes back.
Any ideas what it is, I could handle the being awake, but the feeling us horrible and uncomfortable

Have you got a lot on your mind at the moment?

Thorilicious · 29/05/2020 02:07

No more than usual, although I do have anxiety. Anxiety isn't too bad at the moment.

Would it settle you to have a milky drink then try to sleep?

It does sound like anxiety. Sometimes I find everything a bit too still at night though so it takes ages to drop off.

I’ve been having some success listening to podcasts like Nothing Much Happens and Get Sleepy

Callybrid · 29/05/2020 02:46

I don’t get a creepy crawly feeling but I often have both a kind of panicked feeling that comes from nowhere as soon as I close my eyes to sleep and I notice and fixate on my tinnitus more so distraction is good

Leicester5 · 29/05/2020 03:00

@Callybrid yeah I sometimes watch a short youtube clip to break the silence, can make you feel sleepy

Bluewavescrashing · 29/05/2020 03:04

I'm awake as there are road resurfacing works going on through the night 😩

Try Magnesium capsules before bedtime. It has helped.me with the prickly sensation. I get it in my legs though.

Leicester5 · 29/05/2020 03:06

Oh yikes @Bluewavescrashing!

Thorilicious · 29/05/2020 06:06

Thank you all, I'll check out the magnesium @summer776.
I did manage to drop off, but only managed a couple of hours.
Hope you got some sleep @Bluewavescrashing
