How long are Easy Jet taking to refund?

Our flights were finally cancelled today and I filled in the refund request form. The email says 28 days or longer. I am wondering if that is accurate? Has anyone else had a refund in the last month - and how long did it take?

My husband has been waiting for his entire holiday refund for nearly 50 days now. This wasn't with EasyJet though it was with Virgin. He was told 45 days ,that has been and gone and they have emailed to say they don't know how long it's going to be now. He's taking it up with Abta. It's shocking how long they are taking! He's waiting on £7K.

We are still waiting for a refund for flights from first week of April! Their website says don't even chase until after 90 days.

We got our refunds from 20th March and 2nd April last week.

I requested it on 14/04 and I had an email confirmation on 08/05. It was paid in about 5 days later.

Huh - so quite mixed! Hopefully ours won't be too long. At best it does sound like about 28 days though.

Our 8th April flights were cancelled and I applied for refunds the next week. Nothing received yet. I've just Tweeted them. I think they can take up to 90 days...
