I am not a DomCumTroll!

My parents live 200 miles away, with the new guidance is there anyway we can see each other? I suspect there isn't but maybe someone on here might have a bright idea!

It's too far for a day trip. We can't stay in their house and they can't stay in our house. There's no hotels/bnb. We can't meet half way due to no public toilets etc.

Has there been any hints as to when we can visit long distance relatives?

She wee/baby potty/quiet layby and meet half way? Buy a campervan? Honestly not sure until the guidance changes.

I can't visit my DM who lives 46 miles away. I don't see how you can do this sticking to the rules!

I'm going to visit my mum next week. She's about 75 miles away. She's 90 and hasn't gone out for three months. I've gone to the supermarket once a week and that's it. I'm going to her house we'll sit in the garden or (gasp) her conservatory, if the weather's no good. I'll have to go to the loo there and will wear gloves to go into the loo, and I'll wash the sink afterwards. There's more chance of me getting something in the local Tesco toilets than there is of me passing something on to her in her home.

I think all motorway service stations have to keep loos available 24 hours a day don't they?

Would we be able to camp in their back garden for one night? Probably use their downstairs bathroom but not spend any other time in their house!

Technically with the bathroom no but I suggest that seems sensible. Just clean down any surface you touch with an antibacterial wipe.

A reporter asked the question about camping. The answer was no.
