I think we can all agree there's too much of it....except twice in the last couple of weeks I've had deliveries with no packaging at all.
Nothing embarrassing, so that's good but tricky when the thing that's been delivered is a gift for someone in the household.
Would it change your shopping habits if you knew there's a chance all the DCs' presents will come without packaging? For example, I ordered a gaming headset and it came with the address label fixed to the manufacturers box, rather than in another box, so DC saw it when it was delivered.
Not the end of the world obviously, but I like to at least pretend gifts are a surprise.
