My Canon printer thinks it's a fax - help please!

I have a courier coming and need to print the thing off!

I've googled which said to remove then readd the printer which I've done. It still thinks its a fax machine and won't print when I press print, I get a pop up asking me to put the fax number in.

Is there a drop-down on the print page to specify where you want to print to? Mine has a choice of printer canon blah model, pdf, or fax.

Yes and there's only a fax option.

I've updated my driver for the printeer, still no sign of an actual printer.

I've tried to delete the driver fpr the canon fax and it won'tl et me.

Strange!

Can you reassign the driver, go into printers and assign the FAX driver to a dummy port?

I've emailed it to a friend now. 😁. Give up with the printer.

Assigning stuff to ports is beyond me!
