10th birthday help please!

Hi everyone,

It's DS's 10th birthday next month and I'm really stuck with how to make it nice for him. He's an only child and normally loves his birthday as we have big parties but obviously that's not an option.

Presents - he says he doesn't want anything! He's no longer into toys and spends all his time playing on fortnight and roblox.

I've ordered him a fab cake from someone local.

I'm optimistically hoping we can have family in the garden for a socially distanced bbq by then...

any ideas please?

Favourite food all day, sweets for breakfast, make your own pizzas, ice cream van delivery, boss of the house for 24 hours, order some gifts ..books, cuddly toy, football top, look on wicked uncle for ideas, hire bouncy castle for your garden, get balloons and banners and party plates

Depends on the type of boy he is as to whether he'd like my idea but how about asking family/friends to record a Birthday message and you could collate them?

How about a pool in the garden and a bar for him to create mocktails? ( If, hopefully the BBQ can go ahead)

V-bucks are probably the way forward present-wise.

My DS turned 10 recently and pretty much is into fortnight and sometimes roblox too. We did the following;

Decorated the dining room with banners and balloons, a party tablecloth with his presents on with lots of sweets, drinks etc, for a party feel.

He had a play date with his friends on fortnight. Relatives called throughout the day to wish him happy birthday.

We had a takeaway and let him choose (he chose Indian food).

He had a nice day.

... we bought him some v-bucks for his birthday, as he really wanted something on fortnight. We really didn't want to, but he was obsessed and it was a huge treat.

My daughter is obsessed with robux, so that's another option.
