Want to create and English snack box....

I have been reading something on Facebook where the user has purchased a uk snack box, and basically everybody who’s commenting is saying “literally never heard of these things in my life, you’ve been had” etc etc

On the back of this, I’m going to do a snack swap with a friend in another country (like you would buy the American candy boxes)

I’m from England, so I’ll be doing an English snack box rather than uk!

Any “must haves” you can suggest?!

Pickled onion monster munch, jaffa cakes, jammie dodgers, marmite, apple tango

Twiglets, hula hoops, jelly babies, bon-bons, lilt, chocolate eclairs (the sweets, obv., not actual eclairs )

Flavoured crisps, I believe they only have ready salted in a lot of countries.

A stick of seaside rock if you can find it!

mint humbugs.

A crunchie.

Pringles, dairymilk chocolate whole nut, niknaks, jaffacakes

Yorkshire tea, wine gums, salt and vinegar chipsticks. Perhaps avoid chocolate as it may melt.

Dry roasted peanuts

Liquorice allsorts, Seagrams crisps, sherbet dip, pear drops, Percy pigs

Nope a thousand of these already exist

Specifically English rather than British? Because butter tablet and Tunnocks tea cakes if British.

English chocolate, liquorice, oatcakes, biscuits, pot noodle, twig legs, pork scratchings, Percy pigs, M&S mini cake things (chocolate rolls, crispie cakes etc), pick and mix sweets, picallily, Branson pickle

Cucumber sandwiches
Chocolate fingers

Pear
Jaffa cakes
Pork pie (fridge section of supermarket)

Salt & vinegar crisps
Fruit pastilles
Dairy milk
Mini cheddars
Jelly babies
Proper fudge

Surprisingly you can get all those items mentioned above in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales too so it would be an UK snack box not an English one.

I guess uk would be fine, I’d just feel like a phoney sending a load of Scottish items for example considering I don’t know what they are myself! Maybe it will be a learning curve for me too!
