Family bubbles

Apparently the government is intending to announce that from next weekend we will be able to meet up for a barbecue or something, creating a bubble. However this can only be with one other household and can’t be changed the following weekend, so you would have to choose between family members.

Not at all fair on grandparents mums will naturally choose their own parents so the other set will have to wait for more changes

Totally agree but you have the other complications of grandparents with more than one child who also have children.

It's a crap idea.
My mum and step dad have 4 children to choose from. 2 of us have our own DC.
My dad and step mum also have 4 to choose from, all of whom have DC.
How is anyone meant to make that decision without seriously upsetting someone Sad

I would take the common sense slogan as the guidance. I live on my own and have seen my family home and my grandmother since about 2-3 weeks ago.

How on earth could this possibly be “policed”? People should just use their common sense and see whoever they like, outdoors, at a distance. Don’t share food or drinks and wash your hands afterwards.
