Asda Delivery Slots?

Is anyone able to book a slot with Asda for home delivery? Last night and tonight I waited till 10pm and refreshed. The next day became available but there were no slots, they all said, 'Sold Out.' They can't all be going in seconds! I wondered if anybody else had trouble, or if anybody knows what's going on?

I have used Asda and checked periods in the day and managed to get slots. It didn’t seem to be a specific time when they were released.

Thanks Kate. They used to release them at 10pm. I have been checking on and off today just in case but have obviously missed any coming available.

I've managed to get Asda slots fine when I've checked. It depends on your area really.

I haven’t managed to get one since this all started. I can often get a tesco or iceland one though

Still not showing up for me goodthanks .
I'll have to try and get a Sainsburys one Boohooyouho. It's annoying as there are some food products Asda do that Sainsburys don't.

I've managed to get slots for the past 4 weeks. I always check at 8:20pm, seems to be when they open them up.

Thank you Spun, will try then. :)

I’ve seen slots for the next 2 weeks showing around 430am but they disappear pretty quick

HoneysuckIejasmine · 28/05/2020 05:16

I just booked one. There was on available for tomorrow, a few dotted around randomly, and about 5 timeslots for the 11th June.

I've just checked and all delivery slots are sold out but showing as possible for Click and Collect?

PatchworkElmer · 28/05/2020 07:23

I struggled for several weeks, but have a regular one now. At the start of lockdown, they definitely released them at midnight because I had to join an online queue to get one at that time. Maybe they’re reserving them for shielding customers, and releasing to everyone else when they don’t go? Our Asda always seems to have a few available now. I have definitely had more luck with Tesco overall though.

PatchworkElmer · 28/05/2020 07:23

I also used click and collect a couple of times when I couldn’t get home delivery.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 28/05/2020 08:01

Yes their click and collect is great, usually can get one if you book far enough in advance.

Morrisons always have home delivery available but their stock has been woeful. No fresh meat at all, really limited fruit and veg. So I use Morrisons for storecupboard stuff if I can't get Asda, then stock up fresh stuff with Asda when I can, or suck it up and order from the farm shop.

I am booking asda deliveries two weeks in advance usually in the middle of the night

SoloMummy · 28/05/2020 09:13

I have a recurring slot due to shielding and asda were the only ones that had slots in my area available.
Others have found the other supermarkets have more slots. Have you looked at other supermarkets?
I wonder if they include shielders like me in the sold slots now?

73kittycat73 · 28/05/2020 18:35

I managed to get a slot with Asda today, around 6.15pm. I can't do click and collect as I'm agoraphobic. Have been using home shopping for years.
